# Help me find a specific sad song

They play it on The Current, our local indie radio station. It’s a bit older, very sad and is similar in message to Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle”, but more about how we all don’t acknowledge each others feelings.
Some bits of lines I can remember.
“The man that yelled grew up never knowing any feelings other than anger”
“And you want to be the parent that you wish you had.”

Not sure of the song, but you could check the station’s playlist at [https://www.thecurrent.org/](https://www.thecurrent.org/) when it’s on or been on. The playlist seems to go back aways.

Male singer. Only one. Definitely a guitar there but can’t be sure if it’s electric.
I cannot remember any clear refrain or chorus.
I know this is an extreme long shot and I am bringing to you guys with almost nothing to work with, but you guys have come through before so I ask again.

Are there times when you typically listen to this station… and times when you don’t?
F’r’instance, would be more likely to listen before noon? Afternoon?Early evening? Do you commonly listen in the wee small hours of the morning?
How about week days vs weekends?z

**Compassion - by Cloud Cult** It’s from a small local band and this is a brand new single (No idea why I thought I’ve heard it on the radio for years). I cannot even find a version on YouTube, but I am sure this is it. Great song, I am sure it’ll be more well known in a year or so.

How about the go-to “Alone Again, (Naturally)?”
