# Help me find a thread - music notation and computer programs

A while ago, there was a thread discussing different computer programs for writing out music - I meant to bookmark it for when I needed it, forgot, and now I can’t find it. ☹
I’ve used the search engine, but must not be remembering any key words, and I don’t want to misuse it with a series of monster searches.
Does anyone else remember the thread? Alternatively, can anyone give me any suggestions for a computer program for writing music? I need one that can do grace notes as demi-semi-quavers, unconnected to the main notes of the melody.
