well, I guess I’m proud of solving the puzzle, but disappointed (I know, we were warned). Stiil, is that suppose to be a look of “I’m surprised” in the last photograph? ---

I have to admit - it _would_ be interesting to find a listing of _all_ the “hidden” files in that directory, not just the 10 found so far by trial and error. Curiosity is an amazing motivator, no? - Dirk ---

Oh yeah, one more thing, and then I’ll pro’ly shut up for a while…turns out she has a Yahoo ID and another personal website, too…apparently she has quite the web-presence after all…and I have to admit, the photog on the _other_ website is considerably more flattering… - Dirk ---

I got a little freaked out that you posted her real name, even though I realize (in retrospect) that if you found the website, you’d find her name. In the future, though, it’s probably not a good idea to put people’s actual last names on the SDMB. I shouldn’t have started this thread, and I’m hoping a moderator will lock it. I don’t want some weirdo creep stalking this girl because of something I did that allowed them to find out too much information about her. ---

October: I apologize as well, I got caught up in the game, and did not think of her as a “person” more than just a webhunt. I will however say that her name is posted at the top of the page, which is what I used to find it. Believe me, it wasn’t all that hard. Privacy issues are one of the biggest problems on the web, but I shouldn’t have done what I did, just like you shouldn’t have either. As final consolation it was her decision to post the information about herself on a publicly accesible page. I hope no bad comes out of any of this.
