Okay. This has been driving me crazy for years. I’m looking for a 1970’s disco song that was played at school when I was growing up. It was around 1978. There were a series of singers singing “Beep” and someone had a metal whistle and would blow it ever so often. Any ideas? And no, it’s not the obvious one - but I can’t even think of it right now! ---

Two songs come to mind. _Le Freak_ by Chic, and _Bad Girl_ by Donna Summer. Any help? ---

Bad Girls is probably right, they sing the "toot toot beep beep"s, IIRC Car Wash uses actual car horns. ---

Yeah, it looks like it’s not _Le Freak_. I just checked it out on YouTube and contrary to my recollection there were no beeps or whistles. ---

Just listened to [No Parking on the Dance Floor](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_Uj1u86lrE) - the singers sing beep beep, beep beep and it has a few whistles. I think it came out in the early 80s though! Great song 🙂 ---
