I know the guy who is the top guy on the Olympic shot put team, Reese Hoffa. I want to make sure I TiVo any coverage of him, but I’m baffled by the scheduling stuff, and it keeps seeming like what is supposed to be on isn’t what is actually on, etc. I have Time Warner Cable, if that helps… Anyone? ---

The qualification rounds are already over. He qualified for the final. OK - It’s going to be on at 7AM Mountain time. My best guess is its going to be on MSNBC. ---

I caught a bit of the coverage late this morning. One of Reese’s tosses was shown, along with a clip of his appearance on _The Tonight Show_. Hoffa mentioned that he had shown up about a half-hour late because he had stopped at an In-N-Out Burger, and Jay Leno quipped (wording approximate): “Finally! An Olympic training regimen I can get behind!” ---

MSNBC has announced that the shotput finals will be shown tonight at 8 PM EST on NBC.
