# Help me fix a damaged memory, please...

I didn’t want to hijack or shit on [Did Christ ever preach to Non-Jews?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=728081) with this bit of trivia, and I didn’t want to go Googling for it, if there’s any chance we could have some fun with it…
But I seem to recall (probably on a record back in the 60’s or 70’s) somebody like Dudley Moore or Peter Cook, maybe one of the Pythons, or somebody in that category, utter something along the lines of “…if the Word of God is anything to go by…”
Anybody at least share that memory, without going on a search for it?
