I have an 01 Chevy Impala. Recently, I locked my car doors and could not reopen my door on the drivers side. It’s been a huge pain.

Today, I tried to fix the problem but didn’t have much luck. Since I can’t open the car door I can only pry the panels open. I was able to see that the lock and arm still work fine… it’s when the lock gets to the place where the door meets the car that is the problem… I can’t get it open.

Even though I could pry the panels open, my hands are unable to reach down into the problem to free it up…

How would i be able to free my door from the stuck lock?

Thanks
