So I’ve just ordered a print of the movie poster for Woody Allen’s Hollywood Ending (which I haven’t even seen.) It’s a collage of 52 great film endings:

[![](https://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g84/harobed216/Movies/Posters/?action=view&current=hollywood-ending-0931.jpg) ](https://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g84/harobed216/Movies/Posters/?action=view&current=hollywood-ending-0931.jpg)

I’ve identified most of the movies, but a few have me stumped so I thought I’d call on you guys for help! I won’t post the ones I’ve IDed already so you guys can have the fun of filling out the whole list if you want. Have at it!

Bottom row - Between Planet of the Apes and Frankenstein is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”

Further up on the right boarder, just below Chaplin is “Dr. Strangelove.”

That sure looks like the “Climb Every Mountain” finale from “The Sound of Music” to me. It’s odd seeing it in black and white.

I’m 99% sure of that one. The only other possibility I can think of would be _The Inn of the Sixth Happiness_, which also ended with a scene of a group of children being led through a mountain pass. But _The Sound of Music_ is a much better known movie.

To be picky, these aren’t all film endings. The one with the dropping bomb (not to give it away to anyone who hasn’t looked yet) does not happen anywhere near the actual end of the movie. It isn’t even the last iconic scene. So _humph_.

I googled this poster, hoping to find one for sale as I used to have it hanging in an edit suite I used to work in, and found this thread. The Chaplin frame is identified as being from Modern Times. It’s actually the ending scene from City Lights. Love this poster and hope to find it reasonably priced so I can hang it in my home office!

Cheers,
