I remember seeing a film about 5 or 6 years ago but I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it.

What I remember.

-It’s a german film(or at least, it’s German with subtitles).
-It begins in WW1, but then goes into the 1920’s and maybe 1930’s.
-The plot concerns a man who is injured in the war, and I think develops the ability to see the future(and the rise of the nazis).

Has anyone ever heard of this movie?

I was in high school german class when I saw it, but I remember finding it interesting enough that I want to see it again if I can find it for rental.
