I hope I’m remembering even this much correctly. It might have been a foreign movie, about a man in a wheelchair, his wife, and a young man that I think the couple was trying to get to sleep with the wife. Eventually he does, and the husband busts into the room and shoots the wife. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks in advance.

This is ringing a bell with me but I can’t think of the name of the movie that I want to suggest. Did it take place on a boat?

I finally figured out that the movie in my head was [Bitter Moon](http://imdb.com/title/tt0104779/). Is that the one you’re thinking of?

Definitely sounds like _Bitter Moon_. Did it have Peter Coyote and Hugh Grant?
