# Help me Identify a Book

I was in the bookstore looking at books, and saw a book in the science fiction section I wanted to get, but forgot my wallet at home so I couldn’t. Now I can’t remember the title of the book, and can’t find it at Amazon. All I remember about the book, was that it was about a white Fender Stratocaster, and a blues band in a bar, in Texas or Louisiana, or similar state. It was also towards the beginning of the alphabet.

I dimly remember seeing a book like that. Might it be “The Gutbucket Quest”?
Written by Piers Anthony & Ron Leming (I googled).
