# Help me identify this book (yes, another one)

It’s sci-fi! It’s vaguely remembered! It had a cool cover!

My sister and I were reminiscing, in the loosest possible sense, about this book and neither of us could remember the title. It was a science-fiction-type book aimed at young adults. It was about a boy who came to Earth through a trapdoor on his planet, and can’t figure out how to go home. He could read minds. The cover of the edition my sister and I had showed a boy falling from the bottom curve of a planet, with an open trapdoor glowing in it.

That’s all I got. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, you’ll be not only my hero, but my sister’s, as well!
