# Help me locate this funny college research paper?

A few years ago, I came across a research paper for some science class that was completely written tongue-in-cheek. I remembered it today and wanted to show some friends, but I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Is it the one about the experiment that went completely wrong and the student was switching his major any, etc.? 'Cause I’ve been looking for that one, too.

You’ll have to be a bit more specific. Several of the major science journals occasionally put out April Fool’s articles, and there’s at least one journal devoted to joke and/or extrememly bad science (The Journal of Irreproducible Results). There is also at least one journal (Medical Hypotheses) which apparently thinks of itself as serious, but which is entirely devoted to absolutely insane ideas\*.
Can you remember the topic at all?
One article I remember from a year ago proposes that the term “mongoloid” in reference to people with Down’s syndrome isn’t really racist, because Asians and Down’s patients **really are very similar**. The evidence that they point to is that both populations cross their legs while watching TV and both like food with MSG. I am not making this up.
There was another great one where the author suggests that the way that embryos develop is that chromosomal DNA gradually unfolds into the shape of the embryo and the cells follow suit.
