What I would have killed for during my first semester was kleenex. Every new student, and many of the returning ones, gets blindsided by a cold around the turn of the year. In fact, a “sick box”, with lozenges, cough syrup, and so on, would be a good idea. But definitely kleenex. Toilet paper will not suffice, unless you want what looks like road rash around your mouth and nose.
