> Why not ditch the pizza sauce and just use some fresh sliced tomato?. Add a little crumbled feta cheese and drizzle on some olive oil. That’s it.

> I’ve recently started making pizza with pre cooked [naan](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naan) bread. Since it’s pre-cooked, I frreze it before cooking. It cooks in around 8 minutes at 375deg.

Because I already bought the pizza sauce! 😃 I’m adventurous, but I still like my pizza to taste a little traditional. I once went to some Wolfgang Puck restaurant that specialized in gourmet pizzas. It was the first time I had pizza with slices of tomato. It was horrible! I actually don’t like raw tomatos too much except in salsa or in sauce form, so I can’t do that. And yuck, hate feta!

Wouldn’t the olive oil make it too greasy though? My cheese is that round ball of mozarella. I LOVE mozarella!

A drizzle of high-quality extra virgin olive oil at the end is a somewhat standard flourish for an Italian-style pizza. You don’t need a whole lot, but it does add a nice element to the flavor. Now, if you’re covering the pizza in a shell of cheese, the oil will be grease overkill. But if you add a sensible amount of cheese, it’ll be fine.

I love the pizza’s here - it might provide some inspiration.
