Well, they say crack is addictive Eddy. "Better to crawl away from a cliff nauseated by fear than to walk its edge absentmindedly.ā€ ??? No one whoā€™s owned a cat has ever gone on a murder rampage. I have no cite but I feel it in my gut. ---

Hey **ETF,** I just read your column about horses - you rock! I, for one, always mount from the left. šŸ˜ƒ Name the kitty Eddy, Teddy or Freddy! And yes, I agree with you on that, **Rooves** - cats are soothing to the soul. ---

Iā€™d love to show you all a couple of pictures of my namless cat, but I canā€™t figure out how to put them up for you to see. Any suggestions? Thanks for all the names so far! Keep them coming please! The kitten has turned out to be a very loving one! She purrs a lot, and her meow is very very quiet. Most of the time I just see her mouth open without noise. She always has to be right next to me and my roomates. So that is her personality so far! ---

How about Lucy? Thatā€™s my black catā€™s name. When she doesnā€™t behave itā€™s short for Lucifer. šŸ˜ƒ ---

Albee. Thatā€™s my thought. After Edward Albee. The writer behind Whoā€™s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966). Great movie. Since critters have a way of making you deal with reality, and thatā€™s what WAOVW is about, it seems pretty cool to me. Plus you can say it mean and nice. Good for yelling and baby talk. If you want to go for a Halloween flair, Weenie is cute, too. Halloooā€”Weeennniieeee. If you are any kind of person though, you will have at least 5 names for your babeā€¦see here: [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=174426](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=174426) But anyway, good luck. Cats are sooo off my adoption list for now. They actually quite frighten me now. ---
