Hey, but seriously, good luck in the scene! When approximately should it be out?

Two things:

1. Snorting coke off a woman’s back makes no sense. It would be off her belly, like a body shot.

2. This may have been covered in one or more of the links (I’m not in a place where I can play videos of people snorting coke), but after you do the second line, lick your index finger and wipe it over the small area where the coke was. You’re picking up crumbs and dust. Then rub that finger on the outside of your upper gums.

Thanks! I don’t know the timeline for getting it out. Shooting hasn’t been going on long, and it’s being done strictly on weekends, so that will take a while. Maybe it will be ready to go by the end of the year.

I also thought it would make more sense to snort it off her stomach or butt, but it’s not my script. My general rule is not to offer many suggestions to the creators. For the most part my acting method is “show up on time and keep your mouth shut”. This is my method for most things, come to think of it.

The shoot went well today. Thanks to everyone for the advice. Everyone thought I pulled it off pretty well. Today we just did the snorting and dialogue (and, yes, the ass slapping). Next week we shoot the gun and sword battle.

Snorting the powder didn’t irritate my nose at all. So I guess if I ever decide to add cocaine to my list of bad habits, I at least won’t have to worry about nose discomfort.
