# Help me recall a source for a funny line

I’m 90% sure this is an actual memory. That 10% is there, though.

Best guess is some British comedy act, Beyond the Fringe, Monty Python, The Goonies, or the like. Might be a TV show, a movie, or even a comedy record. Could be from a long time back, 50’s even.

It involves some character saying something followed by “…if the Word of God is anything to go by…”

Help?
