Let’s say we kept Kermit as Brad but made Cloris Leachman Janet. Fully agree with Gonzo being Frank. ---

Sticking with one human character for the purposes of this thread, as the OP stipulates, I would suggest that the human character is Dr. Frank N. Furter. Obviously, we’d need an actor who is living, and as the role is traditionally played by a straight biological male (this is where the 2016 production failed, IMHO), I’d suggest John Leguizamo. He knocked it out of the park in _To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar_, as a “drag princess” and I see no reason why he couldn’t do it here. Yes, he has a few years on him since, but in that _Julie Newmar_ film, he had the bearing and understanding to portray his role perfectly. My second choice: Mark Ruffalo. He’s got the chops to do it. ---
