# Help me soften my beard, please

I have pretty wiry facial hair. My wife likes the way I look with a beard, but doesn’t like the way it feels against her skin.

Is there any way to soften my facial hair? I have been putting conditioner in my beard for about a week now, and I really haven’t noticed that much of a difference.

I thank you, and so does my wife!

Let me know too.

I found that if I let my beard grow out to about 1" (2.54[sup]o[/sup]C), it gets soft. But then my wife doesn’t like the bushy look. So I trim it down, and the fresh cut hair is wirey again.
