# Help me stop my phone from hating my daughter

This is an AT&T phone, fairly new. I put all my contacts into it, downloaded the few apps that I use, and everything functioned just fine for awhile. Then, out of the blue, my daughter sends a text and says that she keeps getting shunted to voicemail. So I checked, and yep, somehow her number got blocked. So I unblocked it. But she still can’t call me. I’ve checked everything I can think of and even did a system reset, but she still gets sent to the corn field. This doesn’t happen to any of my other contacts, and she can still text me. WTF?

Any ideas?

Call AT&T “customer servce”. Yeah, I know.

But if the blocking is a feature of their netowrk, not of your phone, then your dughter may be stuck in limbo. Only way to un-limbo her is from cust svc.

I can’t help you, but I will say the same thing is happening to me. Random (at least to me) people in my contact list are being sent straight to voicemail, others come right through. None are marked blocked. I don’t understand it.

iPhone, AT&T provider. Started happening a few months back. No problems for years prior (or however long I’ve been with AT&T).
