I grew up with a sea farer, I wouldn’t have come up with role, pitch, and yaw. I think the fates and furies are at least as obscure as the names of the three magi (only two of which I can ever remember, though the one I forget varies from year to year) Would these be possible answers for a multiple choice quiz? Then I’d use the furies, the triple play, and Pater, Filius and Spiritus Sanctus for the other answers. ---

The purpose was to list the three things and then have the kids tell me what they were or what they were known for. As it turned out, the older kids weren’t at church today. The oldest that participated was probably around 10 years old. They only knew the most obvious ones like the 3 bears and Snap Crackle and Pop. This was for “Children’s Sermon” which took place during the normal church service so I had the congregation answer when the kids didn’t know the answers. No one recognized the “names” of the 3 wise men. Thanks for the help Dopers. ---
