When my husband and I were dating, he would never spend the night all night at my house. He said he needed his sleep! After we became engaged, he insisted I go for a sleep study. Best thing I ever did.
Most people will understand. It’s becoming more well known as an issue.
I had the septoplasty and also removal of part of my soft palate. I still need the C-PAP. I’d say try the machine and if it solves your issue, skip the surgery.
Had my appointment today and chose not to have the operation. Too many doubts and not enough positive reports/evidence that it would be beneficial. I think the doctor got a little annoyed because I didn’t tell him until after I filled out the questionnaire and stuff, and he still seemed confident that the operation was the best choice. He explained why, but I didn’t hear anything about a “lesion” in his explanation. (I didn’t ask because my German is still kinda shit and he talked fast).
So I’ll probably pursue the CPAP for now and at least get a second opinion on the operation in the process.
