# Help me undo this stupid thing I did - bad smell

I think I will have to get some of this. You never know when you are going to wake up and find a dead horse on your lawn. Be prepared, eh?

if your car has a cabin air-cleaner - replace the filter - the odor’s may simply be trapped.

I’ve tried a few suggestions here. The smell has dissipated to the point where I can barely smell it. I’ll keep working these ideas until it’s gone.

I might cover it in baking soda band vacuum it up this weekend

Get a [Litter Locker](https://www.amazon.com/Litter-Genie-Ultimate-Disposal-System/dp/B019W0OH48). Just $13. Comes with open-ended baggie thingies that they want you to buy refills for, but you can totally just use normal trash bags. Even if you don’t use it every day, you’ll still have a designated place to dump dumps if it occurs right after your morning clean so you don’t have to resort to commuting with it. If you’re worried about odor, sprinkle some Arm & Hammer in it first, or stick an odor absorber jar on top of it.
