[/QUOTE] ‘… and his hair was _ **per** _fect.’ damn but i love that song. rest in well-deserved peace, mister zevon. that song is one of the few i actuallly sing along with - not that you want to hear my singing. and now for something a little more classical. my long-ago forever knight appreciation society listmembers recommended this one - and i bought it. it’s been played a lot in the years since, most recently at my '07 halloween bash. ‘vampire circus,’ by silva screen records, ltd., is a dandy instrumental collection from mostly film, complete with an appropriately blood-spattered cd, no less. 😛 not all of these movies were uh, good, but the music is inspired in some and just plain fun in others. the return of dracula vampire circus fright night transylvania twist vamp children of the night thirst transylvania 6-5000 forever knight to die for son of darkness: to die for II the hunger dracula sundown sundown and fright night are two of my favorites off this little gem. ---

It seems like a lot more Oingo Boingo would fit; “No Spill Blood” and “No One Lives Forever” definitely do at least. Rob Zombie: “Dragula,” “Living Dead Girl.” ---

Frank Zappa gave us _Cheepnis, Billy The Mountain, The Torture Never Stops_, and _Zomby Woof_. _Free Form Guitar_ on Chicago’s first album is not identified as monster music, but it always seemed that way to me. ---
