A friend of a friend gave me this supah-fantastic vintage coat that used to belong to her mother. It’s double-breasted wool with fluffy fur cuffs and a fluffy fur rim around the bottom of the coat. It’s in absolutely immaculate condition (_are you sure you don’t want to sell this on Ebay?_ I asked) . . .

. . . or it WAS, until I wore it (for the first time) this morning to brush snow off of the cars! I got the fur around the bottom of the coat all wet, and now it has, for lack of a better phrase, “gone home” on me!

In other words, the furry part that got wet is now _curly_ fur! (Strangely enough, this has endeared the coat to me even more–a curly-haired kindred spirit!)

So help me! What do I do? If I wait for it to dry, can I just brush it straight again? Or do I have to take it to my hair stylist for a blow-out and a flat-iron? 😉
