Dibs on goof and kook!
You others can be the thugs and ne’er-do-wells.
Seriously, you’re doing the right thing, and may it be minor or temporary.

You must be on several medications also. It is probably a side effect of one of them. I am on Digoxin (digitalis) to slow down my heart beat. I was warned that I may see things that I don’t want to, so I only take is 5 days a week, with two days off.
They asked me, “Are you seeing anything you don’t want to see?” And I said “yeah, doctors.” They were not amused.
Every time I look at the news I see things I don’t want to see.
Ok. It’s not my eye.
Opthalmologist wants me to see the neurologist.
I kinda knew it.
Hmm, the day after I swallowed my first anti-depressant, I saw pastel polka dots twinkle in and out of my vision. They were pretty. They were also pretty scary. Other than that first day effect, I never saw them again. That was a good thing because the docs did not know what to make of it.
May yours turn out to be a one-time thing only. {{{Beck}}}
Neurologist today.
I had a tremor in my left arm and shoulder before I got there. No more vision issues.
I have an infection at my cannula site. It seems mild.
He laughed about my pokie-dots. But also said always be on the lookout for things that are different. And report them.
So I’m ok.
Thx…all.
So glad to hear that all is well with you! ![]()
About 3-4 years ago I got a bunch of tiny black dots, which would seem to flow across my vision. Saw a rather unprofessional opthamologist, she insisted they were floaters and not neurological or anything (if we define “floaters” as actual objects in the eye’s vitreous humor, which for me I’ve had for most of later adult life, and typically remain in the same spot in my visual field, are larger, grey, and out of focus). After about 3-4 months of seeing them they have gone away and ne’er returned.
And may you remain that way for many more years!
Me too!
Glad to hear it. An abundance of floaters were a symptom of retinal detachment (which was never fully corrected and I am essentially blind in that eye).
I’m waiting for Beck’s thread that starts out:
Well, I just came to on the kitchen floor. Looks like I’ve lost a LOT of blood… oh, it’s a gaping head wound, and I’m going to pass… ok, I’m conscious again, and wondering if I should maybe call a doctor of some sort (would a vet be ok? I like the vet in town). But I’ll be in town on Thursday, thought maybe I’d stop by the vet then. So what do the MPSIMS dopers think?
Hey! That sorta happened already.
You know that time I almost died and was saved by the Dope?
The Dope loves you!
Aww. Thx
I get these. very hard to describe. The closest thing is from the Star Trek nexus. About 1.20 into the video
