Forgot to mention: without the feature I mentioned, I’m staunchly opposed to an edit feature. The culture of this board is such that if you can’t be bothered to think about what you post before you post it, we don’t want you anyway. ---

It’s simple enough- just use the Quote feature, and the words can’t be truely eradicated. ---

Reading further down the thread, I want to chime in and say no editing. We’re doing fine the way we are, and all of us have been on other boards where people have behaved exactly how we worry about. No editing! no sports ---
