So what do you call a plot land where you lay out corpses to watch them rot? [John Williams of Western Carolina University wants to know.](http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/2006-07-30-university-body-farm_x.htm?csp=34) He is the director of a new center to train forensic scientists, and he is not pleased with the current term “body farm” as popularized in a Paticia Cornwell novel. He wants something dignified, but personally I feel we should not be so restrictive in our thinking.
