Listen folks, I want an absolutely massive post count. How on Earth do some of you people do it??? ShibbOleth springs to mind, simply 'cos he became a member the same time as me, but has a mightily impressive post count. I know it shouldn’t matter (quality vs quantity an’ all that) But hey, I’m a superficial(sp?)guy. ---

Wiseguy Huh 🙂 No, what I mean is how do people get such a high post count over a short period. I know they post but, are you selective, do you post great essays, one liners, do you reply to every new post, or only ones of personal interest. ---

Make a typo in a post, and spend three more correcting it. Works for me, and I still screw up coding. ---

Well, okay, I know that I don’t have a high post count, but I know that a lot of the people that do have jobs where pretty much all the do is surf on Straight Dope. This way, they can do a lot of posts in one day. ---

I have a job where we get all of 1 hour a day to use the internet as we please, and I wouldn’t wanna post at work anyway (big brother, and all that shit). Still I do use it at home. Magic. Those with high post counts gained over a short period of time did it by hiring Magical Posting Bunnies. The problem with Magical Posting Bunnies is that they aren’t very loyal. The only way you can get them to work for you is by making them salads the way they like them. They only like a certain strain of carrot, you see, which happens to be very hard to come by. It’s only grown in one remote area of southwestern Nebraska. You have to get hold of some of these carrots, as well as nice Romaine lettuce and bean sprouts, and make the Magical Posting Bunnies their favorite type of salad at least once a week. I hear **handy** does so well by feeding the bunnies _every day_, can you imagine? He must have figured out how to grow the special carrots himself (or else he lives in southwestern Nebraska and they grow in his backyard already). If you don’t make the salads right or you don’t give them the carrots, the Magical Posting Bunnies get mad at you and lower your post count in the night. Tragic, really. Read and post a lot. Find threads that you can post to several times. Like the Two word thread, and the qoute anything thread. But I think both of these are closed, so you will have to find others (and yes, they are out there). ---
