… writing in third person. I have been doing it a lot lately and it’s really starting to affect my life. It’s seems I can’t write ten freaking words without referring to myself in the third person. I need help. This board has numerous threads where the topic is written in third person, and I really thinks it’s permanently damaging my communications skills I first starting noticing it when Bob Dole was in the news, and even as far back as the Nixon administration. Quote’s like, “You won’t have ol’ Nixon to kick around anymore…”, and the numerous Dole third person quotes, has inflicted some sort of mental cloud that causes me to write, and occasionally speak in that style. Kathryn sniffles happily and claps her hands at the Doper antics. She loves Doper antics. She wishes Smug good luck on his quest, but doesn’t really understanbd why it really matters. She feels as though the habit is only minorly annoying and can actually be pretty cute. ---
