# Help! Undiagnosed medical problem is getting worse. When **chiroptera** , always a regular poster, never returned after having gone to see her doctor with what sounded suspiciously like having had “silent MIs”, they were not able to help much. I’ve presumed what happened but will never know. Maybe they can reach out more effectively this time, maybe not, but again, the hopeful scenario is that he is having a not so unusual course of GBS that gets to ventilator level: 2 to 6 weeks on the vent is typical. It’s just over 3 now. Not saying “no worries” mind you but it is still within a reasonable course for him to be unable to post. I think all we can do is keep thinking of him and hoping for the best … ---
