You know what? Never mind. You’ve made your bias known, were proven wrong, and instead of moving on or humbly conceding that you were wrong, you’ve tried to make this about me. I don’t care about Crosby either way. I think he’s talented, over-hyped, whiny, cheap, a good captain, a great clutch player and can’t grow a decent mustache to save his life. With him I have no issues or bias. It’s his apologists I’m biased against. ---

You’re probably right, considering how Crosby scores lots of goals and took his lunch money. At least that’s the possible motives I’ve seen. I confess that I don’t see the big deal either. Crosby has faults. He dives (and Soulmurk is right. He really should give up on the playoff beard. It looks terrible. I’ve seen middle schoolers with better facial hair) Ovie is dirty. Joe Thornton chokes in the playoffs. Patrick Roy was a dick. Gordie Howe was a right bastard. Pavel Datsyuk has won the Lady Byng for sportsmanlike conduct and he’s a vicious little bastard. I think the only player in the NHL without a flaw would be Nick Lidstrom. 😉 ---

It brought back painful memories of when I was 14. ---

He was probably relieved when the streak ended. ---

I read somewhere that the reason Malkin didn’t bother to grow a play-off beard is that his was even worse than Sid’s. :eek: (I actually found Sid’s play-off beard rather indearing.)
