# Help Wanted - Cable Guy. Req - incompetance and hatred of Satellite

**UncleBeer** , just because this practice was not condoned where you worked doesn’t mean that it never happens. I’ve heard enough anecdotal stories of wire snipping to believe that at least _some_ installers at _some_ companies are encoruaged to do this.

To call someone an “obstinate, illiterate jackass” because their experience doesn’t tally with yours is uncalled for.
