I remember seeing (on TV) this indie-pop-folk band. There were lots of people (two keyboards, violin, some brass, etc). Men and women. The main singer had a Hippie Jesus vibe. Any idea of what band I’m talking about? ---

Hmmm…Not sure. But while I try to come up with it, enjoy this clip of [Eric Burdon and War – “Spill the Wine” (1970)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTDnx-mffG0). 🙂 ---

There are several of those, though. It wasn’t Robert Plant’s Band of Joy? Or that trippy band that used to have background dancers in fursuits, what was their name? _Edit:_ The Flaming Lips! ---

My first guess is [Polyphonic Spree](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oHb98olya8). Or maybe [The Decemberists](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Decemberists), although the lead singer is not all that Jesus-y. Or maybe [Rusted Root](http://www.5gig.com/Rusted+Root-tourdates)? ---
