not sure that this is a proper question for this site. I remember a partial quote from a movie and I cannot remember the movie. I’ll provide more information once someone confirms this is a legitimate question for this for this forum TIA ---

Something occurs and he spouts off and says/treats her badly. She looks at him as if just recognizing him now, and says something like … “Oh, there you are. I remember you. I thought you had gone.” Have at it! ---

Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant (and Jimmy Stewart and Ruth Hussey)? :dubious: **NB:** This movie was later remade as the musical _ **High Society** _ (1956), with Grace Kelly and Bing Crosby (and Frank Sinatra and Celeste Holm). But your quote sounds more like Katharine Hepburn to me. ---

There’s a scene similar to that in What’s Love Got to Do with It. Ike is talking to Tina trying to be nice and get her to come back and he loses his temper. Tina says something like, “There you are. I was wondering when old Ike Turner was gonna come back.” ---
