Inspired by the “The 17 Yr Olds Ultimatum SAGA” thread (SAGA?) I thought I’d start a thread of commonly used acronyms so I wouldn’t be clueless ALL the time. I knew a couple and figured out a couple so I’ll start.

IMHO - In My Humble Opinion
BTW - By The Way
IIRC - If I Remember Correctly
LMAO - Laugh My Ass Off
ROFLMFAO - Rolling On Floor Laughing My Freakin’ Ass Off

Pretty pathetic list but, like I said, I’m a newbie.

And for the SDMB take on it, try
[abbreviations](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=136936).

(There are several similar threads in the **About This Message Board** Forum.)
