# Help with hot mail account. or...I am a moron

I have written two emails this week and neither of them show up under Sent Mail or Trash or anything that I can find.

I know the recipient of one of them did receive it ( told Mr. Ujest)  
What am I doing wrong?

**Mrs Greenback** informs me that her Hotmail doesn’t default to storing Sent Messages. She has to click on the save message in sent items checkbox each time.

I don’t use Hotmail but I have heard this from others as well.

Yep. With Hotmail, outgoing emails don’t get saved unless you check the box that says, “Copy Message to Sent Folder” before you send them. It’s right under the message field on the New Message screen.

This may not be the problem you’re having, but I’ve noticed that over the last little while, Hotmail has been really unreliable for me (I switched about a week ago to a different Email).

Unreliable being defined as Cannot log in, emails not getting delivered, etc.
