# Help with identifying china pattern and or Chinese translation.

MIL’s china plate [as seen here](http://s1282.photobucket.com/user/SaintCad/library/China%20Plate?sort=3&page=1). Can anyone identify the pattern or manufacturer’s mark or translate the Chinese on the back?

The characters on the back are simplified Chinese and mean:

中国 (zhongguo) = China (PRC)  
电白 (dianbai) = a district of Guangdong province

I’m not sure how helpful this actually is though.

I was suggest a non-literal translation: “Made in China.”

There’s a company in North Carolina called [Replacements, Ltd](http://www.replacements.com/). They may be able to help to identify the pattern.
