I had a very hard day today. I continue to chug out payment requests to the tune of around $50K today. Once all those get posted I will know how much I will write off in my favor. Dumb ass vendors. I don’t know how some of them stay in business. Tomorrow is FALL FEST. I have to pick up the hay at 10am and decorate the hayride wagon, organize and display the decorating supplies, prepare photo op areas, and a bunch of other stuff then in three hours I get to clean it all up. SMH. The tent guys and event coordinators have been working all week. It’s an awful lot of work for a three hour event. I shall be happy when it is over for another year. With the changeover to SINGLE FUND all purchasing has been suspended except gov’t credit cards so I was elected to go shopping for produce for one of our bar/grill. Actually the manager shopped I just paid which means I get to own the paperwork. Yippee. I am tired and a little burned out. I think I will try for a week stay cation before the end of the month and I am taking off a week in Novemberto travel to GA to visit my family. Even still I will have use or lose leave and dang it I earned it and don’t intend to lose it. Hubs smoked a pork shoulder overnight so that will be supper. VIP’s visited the building today and **Lucky Louie** was quiet and undiscovered. Haha. My boss knows he goes to irk every day and will as long as he is able but the higher ups would probably frown on him being there. Having some beers. Finally after Allegra and Benedryl my sinuses settled down. It’s enough to drive one stark raving mad. ---

Had a difficult time sleeping last night. Took my next Percocet about three hours ahead of schedule, then asked **kaylasmom** if she could find me a couple of Benadryl. Which she did, bless her. And which finally got me to sleep, for a good five hours, yet.\* Had a physical therapist by this afternoon, and he gave me the go-ahead to sleep on either side, as well as approval for my getting in and out of bed technique. Kayla’s getting home from school in a couple of minutes, so I’ma start putting together a seasoned glop made from eratz Spanish rice, refried beans and ground beef, with which we shall make burritos. \*I imagine I’m already getting frowny faces from the medically-trained Mumpers over this ad hoc approach to pain and rest management. I promise to stop experimenting and discuss sleep aid options with my doctor tomorrow. ---

I spent my birthday at work, then sitting at the auto mechanic waiting for them to fix my burnt out tail light. Which I should really learn to change myself but can’t be bothered at the moment, so I paid $18 (parts plus labor) for a professional light bulb change. At least someone pointed it out to me before I got a ticket. Turning 28 is spectacularly blah so far. ---

My sinus root-rooters the is tomorrow. I hope it’s worth the effort. There have been FAR more phone calls and emails involved than I could have ever imagined. I need to write a poison pen letter to the insurance company as they require the procedure be done in a surgical setting. Pretty much everyone else covers it as an office procedure, so there’s been much confusion about pre-op surgical clearance, anesthesia, etc. when none is needed. Eta… wow, Siri clobbered the first line. Should be “My sinus roto-rootering is tomorrow.” ---

Sah-son got his paper done on time. It’s a suck ass paper but since this a pass/fail assignment he will get the credit. It’s really not that bad but he only got 2 and a half pages done and it has to be 3+. Good thing I proof read it considering he typed in feminized instead of fertilized. He is writing on the environmental benefits of GM crops. There are a lot of them, funny how the news never reports on that. Another girl in his class is writing about the evils of GM crops - I hope she is in his group so I can read what she writes. This school work is like a two for one deal, I’m learning as much as he is. Only difference is for me it’s fun and for him it’s work. I have no idea what is going on with my eyes. They started itching tonight and for a while they were so bad I couldn’t see. Guess I am allergic to something but that is weird that one minute they’re fine and the next they are swollen, red, itchy and watering so badly I can’t see. Anyway, time for bed. Except I’m hungry. Sleep or eat? ---
