# Here I am without power for 6 hours now

And I am really not as prepared as I thought.  
We haven’t had any outages of duration for over 5 years. Line of storms took it out. Last time my generator worked and we had a full pool to dip into for flushing toilets. Now the generator hasn’t run for 3 years and the kids outgrew the pool. My inverter is only large enough for the router and modem. I’ll be taking the battery out of the least used car in a few minutes to keep it powered. Lucky the storm broke the 2 day heat wave. Most of our electronics are getting low on power. We still have the vehicles to recharge them option.

I no more than set my tablet down and the grid came back alive. I guess my complaint reached the proper cubicle.
