Pretend I’m the crochety coot in the corner that, every now and then, manages to display an interesting perspective. Take the perspective for what it is and don’t bother about whether I’m a coot or not. I’m actually not but that’s immaterial. I mostly cannot convince myself that anybody would have any sort of reason to care about the words I use or why I say what I say. I’m nobody. I am, as I keep saying, words on a page. I’m vapour. Picture me as a random post generator if you wish. A robot, maybe. If I spout a thought that interests you, then great. I will be impatient with some people who debate poorly. I’m not the only one who is. Number me among the others who are and that’s fine. It’s the truth about me and there’s no point in being other than that because it would be false. I will dive into a fray if I think somebody’s getting beaten up too badly. That will also tick people off. I don’t plan to cease doing that, either. I won’t be nice to prejudiced people. Don’t expect it. And I promise I will not smile sweetly and make nicey nice when people deliberately misconstrue me or pull any of those other stunts. If you’re looking for sweet and nice, well apparently the whole entire rest of the board is except me so you have plenty others to communicate with and don’t need to pay me any mind. ---

Let’s take this one really slow, for her. I’ve often found that it’s the most brilllllllllllllllllliant people who have the most trouble with logic and all that other mindless drivel created for those stupid ones of us who were either not so fortunate to have been born with as many brain cells, or – more likely in my case – to have drowned an excess of them. This thread has radically changed my opinion about \*\*Quiddity. \*\* I used to think she was merely annoying. Now I think she is both annoying and deeply pathetic. I have rarely seen a poster with such an utter lack of self-awareness, or whose behavior so completely contradicts the attributes she claims for herself. ---
