OK, I’m peeking back in because if I don’t share this now, I’ll forget it. We had a quickie meeting to discuss some of the knuckle-draggers that we have to work with. I asked “Is it fair to assume that they have progressed beyond flinging their own poo?” To which our resident young 'un replied “Yeah, but their hands still stink!” Much hilarity ensued! I think I love my job! ---

Just performed my first \ multiple tick-ectomy! Poor puppy had two hanging out so close together, and so tough to get off, I wasn’t sure that’s even what they were. GROSS!! And Mouse was very good about it, though I know it must have hurt. Still bleeding a little, but two dead ticks down the toilet, finally. The first one I got off I had on it’s alcohol-soaked pad for the minute or two it took to get the second one off. By the time I got the second one off the first was nowhere to be found, and I looked at Mouse’s snout and sure enough, it had gotten back up there somehow and was crawling into his nose!! SO GROSSSSS!!! ARGH. ---

Program timeouts should be for other people, but not me. Raeg. edit: the internet was down for about 45 minutes this morning and I basically couldn’t do anything because everything is stored on different servers and whatnot. So I found a book on the subject my industry is based around and started reading it. And god help me, I got into it and was disappointed when the internet came back and I had to do real work. ---

Home and fed, after a perplexing stop at the pharmacy. When I saw my Doc on Firday, she sent in refill scrips for all my meds. There were several calls from the pharmacy yesterday, but no messages, so today we stopped on the way home. They only had 2 filled, and for some reason my Lipitor was 80mg tablets rather than 20! :eek: Since Christine didn’t say anything to me about raising my dosage, I declined to accept them, opting to come home and call her. According to the office records, I’m just supposed to get 20mg, and that’s what they’d sent. And no one knows why my lisinopril wasn’t filled. Anyway, the office is going to contact CVS and straighten things out. I threw together a quick supper and we pretty much inhaled it. Now I’m wishing we’d stopped and picked up some dessert on the way home. Woe is me!!! I haven’t had any chocolate in days!! I met the #3 guy in the company today - he’s the one who hired \*\*FCD \*\*in the first place. I only knew who he was by reading his badge - he didn’t bother to introduce himself. Classy bunch. 😉 I’m thinking I need to design a t-shirt for our little group that says “Our hands don’t stink!” 😃 ---

I survived my all day conf call. Pretty much just barely. But I did. Came home and worked off some stress/tension/general pissed offedness on the elliptical and bike and weights. Then me and **mr ems** had a huge fight over his ungrateful, spoiled daughter. Urgh. Super day today. So I am having a glass or 6 of wine on a school night. I really shouldn’t but it is either that or eat my weight in Cheetos and chocolate and ice cream and brownies and cookies and… ---

They were really frightened and pissed off. They are now moving about selecting where to dig up sand and build markers for their territory. Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 70 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 87 and dry. Another sniffly, sinusy day. **gt** it takes creativity to find a bowl of farts. I’ll give ya that. 😛 **flytrap** I think fishies in an aquarium are jake. They’re purty and fun to watch. I’ve been told that we shall have **N.O.L.** at Olive Garden on Firday. Why, I do not know except that one just opened here and there’s apparently a jonesin’ to go try it out so **N.O.L.** shall be when that occurs. OG is not a favorite of mine but, hey, I ain’t payin’.
