**Teckchick** , if '68 is your birth year (like me) then of course _Risky Business_ was a big influence during your formative years. The philosophy therein is “What the fuck?” or the equivalent “Looks like it’s University of Illinois.”

My mom has had two strokes, a severe gastrointestinal infection, and incompetent care at a rehabilitation hospital for the last two weeks. I don’t think “fuck it” is going to work for me.

My mom died in 1983 of colon cancer, my grandfather followed four months later from a heart attack after another by-pass surgery.
It’s not a **Fuck It** kinda thing but later you learn it’s life. So, after almost 20 years, I have learned that it’s a matter of dealing with it as best you can. In my case I say **Fuck It** because I have mostly healed and there is nothing I can do to reverse the passing of two very important people in my life. I am weird maybe.
My dad was in the hospital last month for pancreaitis…he’s lucky to be alive. He can no longer drink alcohol, not even use mouthwash with alcohol in it. He takes one more drink and he’s toast.
Eh, I am glad he’s alive and no, had he died or been put into full time nursing care would I say **Fuck It**. But you have to admit there are a lot of things in our lives where you just need to say **Fuck It**.
The times that something that deep, like a loved one sick or possibly dieing that it’s **Suck Ass**. **Suck Ass** goes deeper than **Fuck It** and life around you seems dim and sad.
But that’s just my twisted view on things after dealing with a lot of death and sickness in my world in my 33 years. Not meant to offend anyone at all, especially you Ogre, I hope your mom gets better and better care.
