OK…I think I understand…something. Adoption is OK, as long as the adoptive “parents” are sure to announce to all and sundry that “this isn’t really my kid! I’m not pretending to be a parent! I’m just a guardian!” Right? Because that would sure lead to the child having a healthy mental attitude and feeling of self-worth. ---

I think it’s wholly underrated by a lot of folks, but it’s enjoyable in a camp and cheesy way. ---

As originally written, it was not intended to be part of the Die Hard movie series. The script was optioned, Bruce Willis was cast in the lead, and someone thought, “This guy he’s playing is basically John McClane all over again - why don’t we just slap the Die Hard name on it and call it a sequel?” So, in a manner of speaking, the original script is an orphan, adopted by a larger, more successful film franchise, its original identity stripped from it and buried, and the finished product presented to the world as part of the Die Hard family. So it’s no surprise you like this movie, you _heartless monster!_ ---
