There was a guy at the Temple Mrs. Plant (v.2.0) and I went to who brought various cakes for the oneg, a communal snack after Services. Did I get that right, Rosie? 🙂 He mentioned finding deer fawns on his land, and wanted to feed them, but feared that would make them more available to hunters. He died, of no apparent or discussed cause, he was just gone. As Swampy knows, you miss a nice guy like that. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 73 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 for the day. Also very hyooooooooomid out. Baby YP arrived around eleven last night. He was actually two weeks early, not a week, as I said last night. Anywho, he’s a healthy baby boy. YAY! OK, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, I must purtify for irk. I dread the loooooooooooong commute all the way to the study this mornin’. Woe is me. 😃 Happy Firday Y’all! ---

I slept thru most of the night in bed, but I woke around 4:30 (stoopit bladder) and coughing ensued. I finally gave up pretending at 6 when Higgs started fussing. So she’s been fed and let out and I’ve loaded the dishwasher, hand-washed the big stuff, and tidied the kitchen. \*\*FCD \*\*is still abed (he takes Firdays off.) One way or another, the old fridge will be gone today. A couple are supposed to be here this morning to get it. If not, it goes to the dump. Easy peasy. I’m going to try to put down some grass seed today and maybe put some dirt in a few depressions in the front lawn. We’d had a tree taken out some years back and the remnants of the roots have probably finally rotted. So I shall attempt to even that section out. And I’ll probably toss some dirties in the washer, too. Hooray for new babbehs - especially when they belong to someone else! 😃 Just another day in paradise. Happy Firday! ---

8 mins after my toe touched the tub I was showered, shaved, dried, dressed, & out the door! Was worth coming home late because I got an _awesome_ shot (after I was supposed to be heading home from morning run). ---

Thanks, all. Drinking Dr Pepper in the morning because I figure it’s better than having beer in the morning. Besides, my days of breakfast drinking are long gone. I got to talk with a good friend last night, so that was nice, even if I was a bit of a mess. I should take this Dr Pepper can to the store when I’m finished with it, and get some money for it. I can also find some beer cans to take to the store. They’re my dad’s beer cans, but he lets me take them to the store. I wonder if the store clerk thinks I’m a boozer. Haha 😛 ---
