My analog flip phone from 1998 could do it. Doesn’t make me feel important. Just makes me think you’re wrong and are maybe too proud or too embarassed to admit it.

As **Gorillaman** pointed out, I was referring to sending a call to voice mail rather than answering it, which was the OP’s first feature request.

{Aside to those who know who I mean: My, there certainly are a lot of techies who find time to quibble but not contribute. Get into the party guys. Your current phones aren’t that perfect - there must be _something new_ you can imagine wanting. Think of an improvement and tell us. }

I think I could use a button to transfer an incoming sales call to a help line in India. Then it’s a war of wills, one trying to control the conversation and the other trying to transfer it to a different department.
