Ugh. It looks so _cheap_, like one of those costumes they sell around Hallowee’en in a plastic bag (so you can’t see how ugly it is when you buy it) as one size fits nobody. And the makeup! Gross and cheap looking as well. Poor, poor NBC. I’ve read comments from other woman along the lines of “She’s too skinny! Someone could snap her in half like a twig!” I have no problem with superhero chicks being slim, as long as they have muscle tone. Jolie as Lara Croft, say, where she took her skinny ass frame and added some gorgeous muscle definition to it. But this chick looks both skinny and soft (not in an “Ooh I wanna touch” way, in a lack of muscle tone way, in a “Maybe Wonder Woman has been seeking too much comfort in reality show marathons and pints of ice cream on the couch”). If anyone could use a gritty reboot, it’s Wonder Woman. This just looks like pure camp, but without any hint of self-awareness. ---

Keep in mind this is a David E Kelley show. He created _Boston Legal_, _Ally McBeal_, _Doogie Howser_ and _Chicago Hope_, which doesn’t bode well for the show to be a conventional take on superheroes. ---

The fact that they consider this costume a good idea makes me think there’s a whole bunch of other really bad decisions involved in this show. ---

Would it kill Palicki to go to a gym and develop a little in the way of muscle tone for the role? David E. Kelly is a bigger mistake than the costume. Could be wrong, but hard to believe a SNAG could do a credible job with a superhero kinda story. I’m hoping they’ll keep the Greek goddess/Paradise Island mythos going, but I bet it’s the first thing they dump. ---

I don’t actually hate the basic design, Just that particular implementation of it. It just looks like a strippers 5 dollar knock off of the real uniform. ---

Someone upthread said this woman is 6’ tall? Man, without anything around her for scale, I thought she barely crack the 5 foot mark. IMHO she’s got to much of a baby face. Wonder _Woman_ shouldn’t look like Wonder _Girl_. It suffers the same credibility issue as Lois Lane in the last Superman movie, where you’re expected to believe that the woman who looks more like a college-age intern is a Pulitzer-winning, highly respected, hard-ass newshound. ---
