Man that is a weird commercial. Who is this Nick Stearcy dude who evidently thinks he’s some kind of huge star we all should have heard of? And he’s literally beating up a black guy for saying he’s a liberal? The porn video quality of the acting and production really stands out too. This is…what IS this? I don’t even ---

The only way that commercial would work is to turn it around. Have the stunt guy - the guy that’s doing the real work, the guy that isn’t behaving like an asshole - deliver the message behind the back of the poseur star. That the message is coming out of the mouth of an asshole is wrong, so wrong that every cell in my brain is screaming that’s it a parody or deliberate sabotage put out by somebody else under Cain’s name. Are you supposed to remember that Cain is black or is this an attempt to wish it away? Yellow flowers? You don’t like the color of my flowers is code for “I’m black, so what?” At the end he threatens a little boy? What could they have been thinking? What? ---

The reason this sucks is that only stupid, inept people would even think of supporting Cain. So you get a project that is stupid and inept. I’m a graphic designer and every once in awhile I get a client approaching me for typesetting and cover design of a self-published book. This commercial looks like the stuff I get when someone thinks they have an Earth-shattering idea for a plot and decide to write a novel even though they’ve never written anything before and perhaps never even \*read \*a novel. A person who simply has zero ability in crafting a story, or communicating effectively decides he can send a message. _“So the guy get’s accosted by liberals, they spit on him. But he kicks their ass. And the joke is that the star is still a Hollywoood type, so he’s all pampered. And the chicken is a metaphor and the liberal is black but the hero punches him to show we’re not racist!”_ ---

Well, when you think about it, the whole Cain campaign is insane anyway. He wants to run for President, but he probably couldn’t even get the Republican nomination for the US Senate in Georgia. Republican primary voters in Georgia are, ahem, not so fond of the Negroes. Shocking, I know. Nationally, well, sure white New Yorkers and Midwesterners are going to be eager to vote for a dark skinned black man with a thick Southern accent. A tendency towards massive reality denial is not what we need in a President. ---
