I love Hiro. One can only hope he comes up with a mask and actionphrases “Hiro Time-Fuhleezoo!” I wonder, is gangbanger dad hiding in mom’s reflection? It would keep him close to his son and make him impossible to find. Mysterious brown guy (I thought the glyph was a crest on the knot in his tie)- Is his power not thinking? He could be Presidential material. BTW I keep expecting the name Petrelli (Little stone) to be significant somehow. ---

The clearest were on the tie of Mysterious Brown Guy, and in black marker on one of the pictures on the map. It’s definitely a case of repeated semi-hidden images rather than our imaginations. ---

After Hiro saved the little girl, my station went to four minutes of commercials --the same three ads, shown twice, with the NBC logo in the middle of them. It was odd. When they finally got back to the show, Nikki’s son was getting into the car, it was daylight and she was pulling the car onto the highway and saying “We’re on our way to grandma’s house.” Did I miss anything? It looked like something was cut out. I’m thinking aaargh-they censored something, but then when I saw Claire at the end I figured nope, cuz that was bad. Why did Nikki go to grandma’s house and then tell her she wanted her out of their lives? Was that the only way the writers could give us some back story? Was the guy in the bar who made everything go quiet Nikki’s ex? Loved the effect when Hiro was stopping time. ---

I thought the ring Nikki found meant that was her ex. After all if everyone in his gang wore one then doesn’t that mean he did also? Perhaps he was a wife-beater and Reflection-Nikki got rid of him? What the heck was being pulled out of Claire’s head at the end, it looked like a chicken foot? ---

Since we’re all geeks we’re probably going to start competing over who spots the most and the earliest so I’m just getting a jump start. So, yeah, Clare, ow indeed. Interesting development in her siuation. She _can_ for all intents and purposes be killed, or at least “killed,” if her brain sustains a certain level of trauma. Personality-wise, I still can’t quite figure her out. She doesn’t want the attention public knowledge of her abilities would bring, so why would she have herself taped at all? And why did she pick the cute nerdboy to tape her? Is there some reason why I automatically assumed that Niki was going to ser her mother rather than DL’s? Hm. And is DL going to turn out to be the guy from the bar or would that be stretching credibility just too far? Do we think the mysterious figure after the girl is actually Syler?
